Telephone conversation with Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan

Vladimir Putin and Nikol Pashinyan Pashinyan NikolPrime Minister of the Republic of Armenia continued their discussion of issues related to the normalisation of Armenian-Azerbaijani relations, including in view of the Russian President’s recent talks with President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev Aliyev IlhamPresident of Azerbaijan
during his state visit to Baku. The Russian side reaffirmed its commitment to further assisting Armenia and Azerbaijan in developing a peace agreement,
advancing the process of delimitation and demarcation of the border, as well as in unblocking transport and logistical ties in the region.
During the exchange
of views on the bilateral agenda, the parties highlighted the positive dynamics
in trade and economic interaction.
It was agreed to continue their contacts.
